On a highway curve, the arc is the road and the long chord is the straight line from where the curve starts to where it ends. Surveyors measure the chord to stake the arc. Chord & Arc: the measurement and the design, and, to a GIS person, ArcGIS.

We build ArcGIS systems for engineering firms and the public agencies they serve: field inventories, project portals, operations dashboards, and screening tools. Based in Mississippi and the Gulf South, remote nationwide.
